Mosque of Nebi Younis
A well-known mound in Nineveh is where you’ll find the Mosque of Nebi Younis. It is thought that the burial of Prophet Younis, son of Amittai, who lived in the eighth century BC may be found at this location. This location is situated in close proximity to the entrance gates of Nineveh. A stunning carpet from Persia adorns the surface of the tomb where the Prophet was laid to rest. It is also said that the structure has the teeth of a whale in its inside.
