Tangkuban Perahu
This is an active volcano that may be found around 30 km north of Bandung. The name of the volcano comes from the phrase “Tangkuban Perahu,” which literally translates as “turned up boat.” When seen from a distance, the mountain has the appearance of an inverted boat. The museum has a collection of thousands of rocks, minerals, and fossils in addition to other natural artefacts. Gedung Sate
Gedung Sate is an excellent administrative structure that was constructed in 1921 and is located close to Geological Museum. The structure got its name from something on its roof that resembles a satay stick, thus the name of the building. The structure has a variety of architectural styles. The windows were crafted in the Moorish style of Spanish architecture, while the roofs include a combination of Balinese pura and Thai pagoda architectural elements. The architectural design of the whole edifice is inspired by the Italian Renaissance period. From the highest level of the skyscraper, there is a vantage point that looks out over the city.
Bandung Zoo
This zoo sits on Jalan Kebun Binatang Street. The zoo first opened its doors in 1930 and is home to a diverse collection of avian species. Latin names are given to the animals and plants that are on show in the zoo. Exploring this location would be enjoyable for anybody, but particularly for families with young children.
