Mineral Water Park
Borjomi is home to a stunning Mineral Water Park. In the year 1850, it was founded at the location where a water spring had been discovered. After drinking water from this spring, Yekaterinsky, who was the daughter of the Governor at that time, was healed of her illness. A swimming pool and other lovely places to have a picnic may be found a few kilometres farther up the trail.
Petres-Tsikhe Fortress
This is an old stronghold perched on a hill in the area. It may be found to the right of Mtkvari and not far from the Likani Sanatorium. The construction of the stronghold began in the 10th century, and between that time and the 14th century, it saw significant expansion. Views of the Mtkvari Valley may be had from this location, which is quite scenic. From this vantage point, you may also take in the vistas of Gogias-Tsikhe Castle.
Borjomi Museum of Local Lore
This museum is remarkable since it is housed in the Romanov office that formerly stood here. n excellent exhibit of artefacts taken from the Romanov palace may be seen at this location. The museum has a collection of around 2,000 butterflies that are displayed quite tastefully. There are also additional displays, including flora and wildlife native to the area. An intriguing object to have a look at here is a map of Borjomi that was constructed out of papier-mache in the year 1917.
Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park
The Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park was formed in 1995 and is now regarded as one of the biggest parks in the nation. The park has a number of various temperature zones, including humid semitropical, subalpine, and the dry climate, and as a result, it is home to a diverse collection of flora and wildlife. From April to late October, visitors may enjoy excellent chances for hiking and horseback riding in the area. The park is now undergoing the construction of a variety of brand new amenities.
