Great Buddha Statue

A mountainside not far from Changhua city is home to this amazing statue of the Buddha. The monument stands at a height of 86 feet and was carved on a ferrous concrete framework. The inside of the statue is composed of six distinct parts, with the one on the bottom level serving as a sanctuary. On the next five levels, there are a variety of exhibition galleries where objects relating to Buddha’s life are shown.
