Jharkhand is a brand new Indian state that is situated in the eastern part of the country. It is a state that has been blessed with beautiful forests, fascinating wild life sanctuaries, attractive lakes, and gushing waterfalls. Mineral resources such as uranium, mica, granite, bauxite, dolomite, fireclay, quartz, coal, iron, copper, gold, and silver are abundant in this state, making it one of the most mineral-rich in the country. This mineral-rich state is home to around 25 percent of India’s copper deposits as well as 32 percent of the country’s coal mines. Roughly one-third of the landmass that makes up Jharkhand is covered by various types of thick forests, woods, and forest paths. Visitors gravitate toward Jharkhand as a destination of choice due to the state’s richly varied traditions and cultures.
Jharkhand is such a young state that its recorded history only dates back to the 21st century. On November 15, 2000, the Bihar Recognition Act formally established it as the 28th state in the Republic of India. This made it the state with the most recent number. The state of Jharkhand was established on the same day as the birth anniversary of the revered figure Bhagwan Bisra Munda. This young state’s capital is located in Ranchi, while Dhanbad, Bokaro, and Garwa districts are some of the most important ones in the state. Ranchi is the state’s largest city. The development of Jharkhand’s infrastructure is hampered by the fact that the state very recently came into being. Nevertheless, there is a significant deal of untapped potential for growth in the state.
