Jurong Bird Park, Singapore
This park, which can be found on Jurong Hill, is one of the largest bird parks in the entire world. It was established in 1971 based on the “open park idea,” and its total land size is around 49 acres. There are around 9,000 birds in this park. These birds come from all around the globe and represent over 600 distinct species. They were brought in from a variety of nations. There are over thirty different kinds of birds in the park that are considered endangered. Aviaries or other huge enclosures provide all of the birds with a safe and secure place to call home.
Cassowaries, hornbills, eagles, macaws, peacocks, cockatoos, parrots, ducks, and many marine creatures are among the most popular things to see and do in the park. In the nighttime area, you may see a variety of kiwis and owls from across the world. In addition, you may watch penguins swim around in their aquarium or watch hummingbirds perform in the Hummingbird Gallery. Both of these activities are available.
There are over 1250 tropical species housed in the Waterfall Aviary, making it the most intriguing portion of Jurong Bird Park. In this particular place, there is a man-made waterfall that is 98 feet long. The Southeast Asian Bird Aviary, which is designed to seem like a rainforest, is home to more than one hundred different kinds of birds. You may also witness a variety of shows while you’re at the park, such as the World of Hawks and Birds Show and the Buddies Show, which is also referred to as the All-Star Bird Show.
