Mindoro, which is located in the Philippine archipelago and is separated from the main island of Luzon by the Luzon Strait, is the seventh largest island in the Philippines. The name of the island comes from the Spanish phrase “mina de oro,” which literally translates to “gold mine.” The early Spanish colonists exploited the rich mineral potential of Mindoro and the other islands in the area. Sabang Beach
On the eastern edge of Puerto Galera is where you’ll find this beach. The beach is well-known for the diving spots and the exciting nightlife that it offers. In the immediate area, there are a great number of hotels and resorts where you may spend the night and indulge in some mouthwatering cuisine.
Talipanan Beach
Talipanan beach is the perfect spot to unwind and take in the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding natural scenery. Visitors come to this location to take part in the music and beach parties that are held often. As a result of the tides being at a relatively low level, this beach is incredibly peaceful. Tamaraw Waterfall
This waterfall may be found in the barrio of Villaflor. This waterfall, which is 129 metres in height, is composed of a series of uneven waterfalls. These falls finally culminate to a single magnificent fall, which descends to a waterbed that generates foam at its base. The waterfall is an excellent tourist attraction, and it is not difficult to get there from Calapan.
The Cross at Muelle
In Puerto Galera, the Cross at Muelle may be found in close proximity to the Poblacion Center. This marble cross is a local landmark that dates back to the town’s history. The cruiser Canonero Mariveles was making its way through the Manila canal in the year 1879. The ship sank in the canal as a result of an accident that occurred there. This cross was erected as a memorial to the event that transpired here.
Excavation Museum
This museum may be found in the town of Puerto Galera next to the pier. Mount Halcon

You may also see over 500 different types of marine life, such as manta rays, stingrays, crevice turtles, and more. The ocean can be seen beautifully from Apo Reef, which has a land area of around 40 square kilometres.
