Sagarmatha National Park Visitor’s Center
The Sagarmatha National Park, which can be found near Mendalphy in Namche Bazaar, is an excellent location from which to appreciate the majesty of Mount Everest. The park is home to a wide variety of stunning birds, animals, and butterflies of all various colours and patterns. This national park is traversed by the Dudh Kosi as well as the Bhote Kosi rivers. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in and observe a variety of local events. The park’s Visitor Center provides insightful information on the many mountains and peaks in the area, including Mount Everest.
Tengboche Monastery
Lama Sangwa Dorje was the one who established the Tengboche Monastery. The Khumbu area is home to the largest monastery in the world. A number of the walls within the monastery are decorated with stunning murals. In this location, you may also hear the recitation of sacred texts and the tolling of bells performed by monks. The Nyingma school of Buddhism is the one practised here at this monastery. From this monastery, one can take in an incredible panorama of Mount Everest and the surrounding area.
