The second biggest county in all of Taiwan is called Nantao County. This particular county does not have any oceanfront property. The breathtaking beauty of the county may be characterised in a variety of different ways, such as “A landscape of lakes and mountains,” “Green Hills and crystal clear waterways,” “Green peaks rising one higher than another,” etc., among other phrases. The fact that the county has a significant amount of hilly territory already makes it appealing to tourists. There are around 41 mountains in the county that have summits that are higher than 9,843 feet. Mount Jade, which dominates the landscape of Nantao county and is Taiwan’s highest peak, is home to some of the island’s most breathtaking vistas.

Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village

Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area
The Sun Moon Lake is the jewel in the crown of the Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area. This is because there is an island in the middle of the lake that, when seen from the north, appears like a half moon, and when seen from the south, looks like the outer rim of the sun. Therefore, the lake got its name from this island. The lake has a surface area of about 44 square miles and is situated at an altitude of 2,454 feet. This location can be found inside the Suishih Village and is characterised by its dense and verdant forest cover.
Hsitou Forest Recreation Area
The Hsitou Forest Recreation Area may be found in the vicinity of the foothills that make up Phoenix Mountain. This region is a section of an experimental forest zone, and the Taiwan National University is responsible for the maintenance of the majority of it. Huisoon Forest Farm

Newer Stone Sculpture Park
This park was the first of its sort to be established anywhere in Asia when it opened its doors in 1987. The town of Puli is where you’ll find the park. Phoenix (Funghuan) Valley Bird Park

The park has around 74 acres and can be found in Funghuan Village, which is located inside Luku Town. This route begins in Changhua County and ends in Nantao County. There are four stations along the Chi Chi railway, and the journey from one to the other takes around forty-five minutes. The most well-known stop is at the town of Chi Chi, which is Taiwan’s smallest town and is encircled on all sides by mountains.
