Tsing Ma Bridge
This enormous suspension bridge, which was designed by Mott MacDonald, is said to be one of the biggest bridges of its kind in the whole world. Tsing Yi and Ma Wan are the two islands that are connected by this bridge, which has a width of about 41 metres. There are six lanes of automotive traffic that may use the bridge. There are two railroad lines located on the lower level of the bridge. The Visiting Center and the Viewing Platform are two neighbouring spots that provide some of the best opportunities to take in breathtaking panoramas of the bridge. When darkness falls, the bridge takes on an especially stunning appearance.
Hong Kong Railway Museum
Tai Po, which is located in the New Territories, is home to the Hong Kong Railway Museum. The building that once served as the Tai Po Market Railway Station is now home to the museum. This structure dates back to 1913 and has maintained its structural integrity throughout the years. You may look at a variety of photos and photographs, as well as listen to audio recordings of engines and the sounds of railway whistles that were popular throughout the 1950s, on this website. Outside of the museum, there is a collection of several types of coaches that were common throughout the early 20th century.
Temple of 10000 Buddhas
The Temple of Thousand Buddhas may be found in the New Territories area, near the north-northwest of Shatin. On top of Po Fook Hill is where you’ll find the temple monastery. Locals refer to this monastery as Man Fat Sze, and its distinctive pagoda, which is red and gold in colour, makes it easy to locate even from a distance. Those who are not used to climbing hills will find that the ascent from the bottom to the summit of the hill is a challenging one. In this temple, there are over 13 thousand sculptures of Buddha positioned in a variety of ways. In addition to these, there are a number of minor shrines, representations of gods and goddesses, sculptures of various animals, and a pagoda located outside the main temple.
