Chowk Yadgar
The square, which is considered an important landmark in Peshawar, can be found in the middle of the city. The location, which dates back to 1882, is home to a variety of stores as well as well-known structures. After the conflict with India, in the late 1960s, this location became the site of a memorial that was erected as a tribute to the fallen service members. This stunning structure is in the form of an arch and is around 30 metres tall. Bala Hissar Fort

The King Ahmed Shah Durrani and his son used the fort, which included an area of around 10 acres, as their primary place of abode. During the 19th century, it also continued to be under the hands of the Sikhs and afterwards the British. Bricks were built in lieu of the original mud walls that surrounded this fort by the British. Museum and Art Gallery

Some of these objects include Buddhist stone sculptures, paintings, terracotta figures, arms, clothes, and other artefacts. The primary exhibition space inside the building was constructed in the early decades of the 20th century. A fusion of British and Mughal design principles can be seen in the structure’s architecture. In addition to the several galleries and halls that house the museum’s reserve collection, there is also an Islamic block and a conservation lab in the establishment.
Jamrud Fort
This magnificent fort has been here since the year 1823 and can be found in the town of Jamrud. It was constructed by the Sikh kings who ruled the area at the time. This fort had a great deal of strategic importance for both military and commercial reasons because of its closeness to Afghanistan and the Khyber Pass. It was used as a military post by the British Army during the 19th century and was the target of many attacks during that time period. The tall towers, sturdy walls, and many structures that are included inside the fort may all be seen today.
