Pindaya Caves, Shan State, Myanmar
These caverns are well-known across the Shan state for the hundreds upon thousands of Buddha statues that can be found inside them. It is thought that some of the pictures on display here have been around since the 11th century, while others were produced at various periods throughout the course of the last thousand years. These pictures come in a variety of contours and dimensions. Because it contains more than 7,500 statues of Buddha, the Shwe U Min Cave is often regarded as the most magnificent of these caves.
