Tourist Attractions in Ranong, Thailand
Ranong Mineral Hot Springs
The entrance to the Ranong Mineral Hot Springs may be found at Wat Tapotaram. The location of the site may be found around one kilometre to the east of the Jansom Thera Ranong Hotel. The water here is always approximately 65 degrees Celsius in temperature. There are three springs, and their names in the native tongue signify “Father,” “Mother,” and “Baby,” respectively. The inhabitants of the area revere the water that comes from the spring. The water that comes from each spring has its own unique flavour and also has therapeutic qualities. At this location, there are a number of bathrooms designed in the Thai style for guests to use during their stay.
Nai Khai Ranong
The neighbourhood of Nai Khai Ranong can be found close to the town’s northern boundary. During the reign of King Rama V, a man called Koh Su Chiang served as the governor of Ranong, and he resided in this same mansion. This property formerly had three separate buildings, but now just one of them is standing. In this structure, there are a lot of relics that formerly belonged to the Koh family that you may look at. The building itself functions as a clan home for persons of Chinese descent.
