Shanghai Museum
The Shanghai Museum is a recently opened museum that can be found in close proximity to Renmin Square. It is a fascinating museum to visit. The museum does an excellent job of providing an overview of the country’s artistic and cultural traditions. In addition to ceramics, sculpture, and pottery artefacts, the collection also has masks, costumes, seals, and paintings, among other things. The objects have been presented and displayed in a manner that does an amazing job of doing both. The museum also has an art library, which may only be accessed with prior authorization from the museum’s staff.
Oriental Pearl TV Tower
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower can be found in Pudong’s neighbourhood. Every day, a significant number of people make their way up to see this tower that is 457 metres high and 1500 feet tall. The majority of people that come to the city take the time to explore this beautiful place. Incredible vistas of the whole city may be had from the very top of the tower. n order to ride to the top of the tower, visitors are often need to wait in very lengthy lines for the lift. The Yu Yuan, also known as the Jade Garden, is a garden that can be found in the Old City. It dates back to the 16th century. This garden was created in remembrance of the gardener’s father by an officer of the imperial palace. The garden is well-known for its many features, such as its pools, bridges, paths, and so on. During the Lantern Festival, when approximately 10,000 lanterns are lit up, this area transforms into a very inviting site to view from.
Shanghai Art Museum
The Shanghai Art Museum is conveniently located not far from the city centre. A few years ago, this art museum was moved here from its previous location. A sizable collection of objects exemplifying the diverse range of Chinese art may be discovered at this location. Paintings, sculptures, and other works of art of the highest quality are on show here. Some of the pieces are by modern artists.
Huangpu River
Every day, the Huangpu River hosts a big number of visitors who are looking to have a good time on a boat excursion. The place from which boats set sail is known as Shiliupu Wharf. In Shanghai, the Longhua Si Longhua Si Temple can be found in close proximity to the Martyr’s Cemetery. It is estimated that this temple’s pagoda has been standing for around 1700 years. It stands at a height of about 131 feet and is shaped like an octagon. Bricks are used in its construction, and it has pillars and balconies made of lacquer and wood. People often ring the bell at the tower that is located close to the entryway in the hopes of bringing happiness and success into their life. However, ringing the bell will set you back a few yuan dollars.
Sun Yatsen Memorial Hall
The Sun Yatsen Memorial Hall may be found in the neighbourhood around Fuxing Park. From 1918 through 1924, Sun Yatsen lived at this location as his primary house. This home serves as a repository for Sun Yatsen’s personal belongings, which include a library of books, a phonograph, and a great deal more. A lovely grass in the manner of Great Britain can be seen in the backyard garden of the home, together with a variety of blooming plants and trees.
Yufo Si
The Yufo Si Temple, also known as the Jade Buddha Temple, can be found to the south of the Suzhou Creek. This monastery was founded in 1882, and even now, it is a bustling community that is frequented by a significant number of devotees on a daily basis. Two Buddha sculptures carved from white jade and imported from Burma may be found enshrined in the temple. The temple monastery is home to around one hundred monks at any one time.
