Lori Berd Fortress
Lori Berd Fortress, located about 1.8 miles (3 km) east of Stepanavan, was formerly David Anhogin’s power centre in the 10th and 11th centuries. The fortification is located on the Dzoragets River’s north bank. Its placement between the Dzoragets and Urut River gorges adds to its allure. The huge towers of this fortress are well-known. There are also large stone blocks, an old cemetery, and a 14th-century bridge at this site.
Dendropark Dendropark was established in 1930 and is located around 6.8 miles (11 km) from Stepanavan. It’s a well-maintained park with a large space. This park is peaceful place, with gorgeous conifers and deciduous trees. Near Gyulagarak, around 1.2 miles (2 km) from the park, an amazing botanical garden is being constructed.
