A gorgeous high bridge as well as an outdoor theatre with a quaint café have been constructed across the lake.

Taiwan Museum of Art

The year 1988 marked the beginning of operations for the Taiwan Museum of Art. The museum has a total of twenty-four exhibition rooms and is home to a variety of artworks, including paintings and sculptures, from both the Western and Eastern art worlds, with a particular emphasis on Taiwanese art. Western forms of art, Chinese brush paintings, and Chinese sculptures are all shown in the museum’s rotating exhibits. National Museum of Natural Science

This museum is recognised as the very first scientific museum in the nation, and it opened its doors to the general public in the year 1986. Space Theatre, Science Center, Chinese Science Hall, Life Science Hall, and Earth Environmental Hall are the names given to the establishment’s five distinct divisions, which are situated over an area of land that is 8.9 hectares and 22 acres. The museum’s displays span a wide range of topics, including astronomy, the history of evolution in living things, palaeontology, gemology, and many more. A huge botanical garden that is home to more than seven hundred different plant species may be found just behind the museum building.

Paochueh Temple

This building is a Buddhist temple, and within there is a very large figure of Buddha. The statue is finished in a golden tint and serves as a memorial to Maitrya. One may visit the Japanese Shinto Shrine when they are inside the temple.

Wanhe Temple

Mazu’s spirit is honoured in the Wanhe Temple, which honours the goddess herself. It was built in the year 1726 and can be found in the Nantun neighbourhood in Taichung City. It features three entry doors, with one main door and two smaller doors on each side of it, much like the majority of the other temples in Taiwan. Wenchang Temple

The Wenchang Temple was constructed in 1863 and can be found in the middle of An Li Village, which is located in the Beitun area. Pazea Pingpu is the name of the indigenous people that make their home in this area. The immigrants from Minnan who ended up forming the Wenmei community in Taiwan were the ones who constructed the temple. The shrine dedicated to Wenchung Tichun and the intricate wooden carvings that can be seen on both the entry gates and the main temple are two of the most notable aspects of the temple.

Taichung Folklore Park

The Taichung Folklore Park was established with the goal of preserving the cultures, customs, and lifestyles of earlier times in Taiwan and passing them down to subsequent generations. The park first opened its doors in 1990 and has a total area of 4 acres, which has been subdivided into two distinct subject areas: folk culture and folk art. The park’s buildings have been designed in the traditional Ming Nan style, which is associated with the region of Fukien in China. The Folklore Hall and the Folk Arts Hall are the most popular destinations inside the Folklore Park. The Folklore and Cultural Heritage Facility is another hall that piques visitors’ interests.

Chungshan Park

People who live in the city make regular trips to the Chungshan Park, which is situated in the very centre of the city and is a popular destination for recreational activities.
