Cox Bazar Beach

The Cox’s Bazar Beach Resort is a popular spot for folks to take a dip in the Bay of Bengal’s waters. With several hotels around the beach, the region has been overdeveloped. Relax on the cold beach while shaded by an umbrella. Solo tourists who want to take a swim should be cautious of their personal goods, since criminal activity in this region has increased in recent years.

Aggameda Khyang Monastery

The Buddhist Monastery of Aggameda Khyang is located in the city of Aggameda. It’s in the midst of town, tucked away among the trees. The monastery’s architecture is Burmese, with massive wood columns supporting the main structure.

Maha Thin Daw Gree

This is a Buddhist complex close to the Aggameda Khyang Monastery. This place dates back to the late 18th century and remains almost hidden behind the trees. Lots of monks live at this place and do their meditation and other religious works.Close to the Aggameda Khyang Monastery lies a Buddhist compound. This location dates from the late 1800s and is nearly completely concealed beneath the woods. Many monks reside here and practise meditation and other religious activities.

Inami Beach

This beach, which is around 18.6 miles (30 kilometres) from Cox Bazar, is the world’s ongest and widest. The beach stretches for roughly 74.5 miles (120 kilometres). The breadth varies depending on the tide, ranging from 164 feet to 295 feet (50 m to 90 m). The water may be seen from a guest home near the beach.

Bara Khyang

Bara Khyang is a beautiful Burmese temple in Lamapara, Bangladesh, about 11.2 miles (18 kilometres) from Cox’s Bazar. The country’s largest bronze Buddha statue, as well as several silver and gold Buddha statues, can be seen here. The temple complex contains three wooden structures.

Maheskhali Island

Cox’s Bazar is around 3.7 miles (6 kilometres) away from this island. On the island of Ghoroghata, there is a hill with a stupa on top. This is a popular tourist destination as well as a sacred site. The Adinath Temple is another interesting spot to keep an eye on. On the island, you may participate in boat-building activities, visit the betal bazaar, go fishing, and so on.
