Things to Do and See in Quba
Nizami Park
Nizami Park is situated on a bluff over the gravel bank of the Qudiyalcay River. The entire park is wonderfully covered by trees, making it an ideal area to unwind. Begin the ascent from the park to the ancient bridge. Along the walk, there are several sculptures of prominent Soviet teenagers.
Cirax Qala Ruins
On a wooded mountain, the remnants of Cirax Qala castle may be found. The fortress is thought to have been built in the fifth century. The Sassanid Persians built it, and it is still in fine shape. The Sulfur spring and a sanatorium in the town of Qala Alti are two neighbouring attractions. It takes roughly 50 minutes to hike from the sanatorium to the ruins. There are several open-air cafés in the vicinity where you may sip coffee and purchase spring water.
Old Hammam
Old Hammam is a partially damaged edifice in the town of Quba. It is about 100 years old and has a beautiful dome. The property has steps in the southwest corner. The steam chamber here was formerly adorned with marbles, but it is currently in disrepair. The Hammam’s architectural style looks to be Middle-Eastern in nature.
Xinaliq Village
This lovely community sits on a mountain. Xinaliq is well-known for its unique culture and stone homes. The weather is generally gloomy, making the drive to Xinaliq an exciting one.
Few tourists come to this charming site, which provides magnificent views of the mountain ranges, due to its isolated position and lack of transportation. If you’re coming from Quba, you’ll have to cross several rivers to get to Xinaliq.
Laza Valley
Laza Valley has some of the most breathtaking scenery in the country. On your way to the valley, you may see the breathtaking scenery of the flowing Qusarcay River as well as the flowering flowers. The hills are still covered with lush grass, providing tourists with a relaxing vista. There are decent hotel options as well as great eateries in the vicinity.
