Cathedral of St. Demetrius
The construction of this cathedral took place under the rule of Prince Vsevolod III. There is no way to determine the the year in which building of this cathedral began. On the other hand, it is said to have been constructed somewhere around the year 1197 AD, which is the year when the image of Saint Demetrius of Salonica was brought here. Within the structure, there are relief representations of a variety of animals, such as lions, centaurs, and snow leopards, in addition to a depiction of King David. Images have been created based on a variety of tales, including those from the Bible and mythology. The dome of the church is exquisitely decorated, and it also has a number of intricate carvings throughout. Additionally, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee has designated this cathedral as a place of cultural significance.
Cathedral of the Assumption of the Princess Convent
The construction of this cathedral began in the 12th century. Princess Maria Shvarvovna, who was the wife of Prince Vsevolod the Big Nest, was the one who founded the institution. Construction on it was carried out by locals with the necessary levels of expertise. The inside of the church is stunningly gorgeous. It is adorned with white stones sourced from both Suzdal and Vladimir, in addition to the remarkable mural work by Mark Matveev. Golden Gate
